Union Sales Company

The Union Sales Company served Martinsburg as a family-owned automobile dealer and garage for decades. Today, the main building—a structural gem that once held valet-parked cars for the high-end Shenandoah Hotel across the street and has been used as a movie set—presents an opportunity for repurposing.

The site is directly across from the Martinsburg Visitor Center, and adjacent to the Roundhouse, and Caperton Train Station.

Adjacent parking and structures are held in common ownership, making a variety of use or redevelopment concepts possible. Phase I environmental assessments have been completed, and the private owner of the site has expressed willingness to consider a variety of reuse concepts, including sale or lease alternatives.
